Game Result | Sea Eagles: medium confidence. At first glance the Sea Eagles look hard to beat here. They're comfortably entrenched in the eight, have recently defeated the Storm and are back at 'fortress Brookvale' (fortress Lottoland doesn't have the same ring to it). The only recent blot in their copybook was their loss to the Warriors last week as -7.5 point favourites. Their opponents, the Tigers also come into this game off a loss, going down to the Bulldogs as a -4.5 point favourite. There were a couple of things to like about the Tigers, namely the recent record between the teams, Maguire's record against Hasler, and their obvious desparation to win the game. While Curtis Sironen is a big out for the Sea Eagles, I think Robbie Farah and Moses Mbye's absence hurts the Sea Eagles more. The Sea Eagles to win here. |
With The Start | No opinion. Both teams are decent performers with the start. Might have had a look at the Tigers if they had an accomplished goal kicker, but prefer to stay out of this one. |
Game Total | Under 40.5: low confidence. Expecting both teams to be up for this game and playing with intensity. Player losses on both sides may nullify attacking potency also. Finally, unders running 12-8 in Thursday night games this season. |
For An Interest | Joel Thompson to score a try for a couple of dollars. |
